It is family owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Jeremy and Michele Harnish. Jeremy is an artisan and innovator with 25 years in the lime plaster finishing world with impeccable vision for interior design and textures. Jeremy has created finishes and managed projects in some of the most beautiful homes in Southern California. Jeremy’s work with some of the most exclusive interior designers in the country keeps his work relevant and cutting edge. He always knows what is “on trend". Michele has a Master's degree in Business Administration and a career in marketing and business management and is focused on managing the JH brand and operational side of the business. She enjoys sharing Jeremy's brilliant creativity and unique application style. We are thrilled to manufacture these natural, timeless, aesthetically-rich paints for you in the United States in a unique formulation using natural earth mineral pigments.

As you will notice we have not named our paints using descriptive words. Instead we use numbers. We want the color to speak to you and evoke an emotion instead of subconsciously giving you any ideas. Jeremy learned how to paint from his dad and together they found the perfect beige which was “1015”. They refer to colors by number. This remains an important way for us to spark your curiosity and creativity using color. We hope you enjoy choosing paint numbers instead of names. In doing so maybe you can give a color name to your favorite number or like Jeremy and his dad, find the perfect shade and refer to it by number.
We offer color matching to most national paint brand colors (Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Farrow & Ball, etc.) or we can custom match a color sample that you send in. Every batch is hand-crafted by our color matching experts.
